ENNISCRONE & DISTRICT AGRICULTURAL & INDUSTRIAL SHOW
Pony & Donkey Section
A donkey is stronger than a horse of the same size. Donkeys have an incredible memory – they can recognise areas and other donkeys they were with up to 25 years ago. Donkeys are not easily startled (unlike horses) and have a keen sense of curiosity.

Schedule Classes
Judging commences at 10am
1st €50, 2nd €30, 3rd €20 (unless otherwise stated) Vouchers to the same value may be given in some classes. ENTRY FEE: €12, five or more entries €10
The winner of a first prize in a class will not be eligible, to compete in another class at the show but can compete in championships and classes where it states Rule 26 does not apply.
*IMPORTANT NOTICE – Horse Riding is a dangerous sport and all competitors in Ridden Classes are strongly advised, for their own safety, to wear appropriate head gear which complies with up to date safety standards*

1. The Championship is for Donkey Mare with Foal at Foot.
2. All Exhibitors must have the Dams passport (in accordance with EU legislation for all entries which includes Donkeys), ready for inspection and at the Qualifying Show Final.
3. Two Donkeys to qualify if Judges & I.S.A. agree that the standard is OK
These rules should be read in conjunction with the ISA Rules

A prize will be presented for Combination of Best Turned out Donkey and Most
