The Ireland West Young Horse Championship was established by the Shows in Mayo and Enniscrone Show.

The championship is open to everyone

To Qualify, you must participate in a young horse class at any 3 of the following shows;
Westport .................1st & 2nd June
Enniscrone...............6th July
Ballina .....................13th July
Louisburgh............... 20th July
Crossmolina.............26th July
Erris .........................27th July
Claremorris .............3rd Aug
Bonniconlon ............4th Aug
Swinford ..................24th Aug

The top two horses from each class will go through to the championship.

On the day of the final, there will be 3 classes as following:

• Yearling class €700 prize fund
• 2yr old class €700 prize fund
• 3yr old class €700 prize fund
