Enniscrone and District Agricultural and Industrial Show
After weeks of deliberating, it is with a very heavy heart that we have to cancel the 2020 Enniscrone Show. Thank you to all the committee members, volunteers and of course our sponsors who get behind us every year. Now let’s look forward to an even better show in 2021! Stay safe and stay at home!
Enniscrone Show continues to be a very important event in our community. Steeped in history going back to its foundation in the early 1940’s.
The Enniscrone Show, which was originally held in Kilcullen’s field behind Enniscrone church, has always been a hugely important annual event in our community. An event that provides our local community with the opportunity to experience all that is good about life in rural Ireland. The show lapsed in 1970 but 20 years later in 1990, a decision was made to revive the show. Enniscrone Castlefield with its hills providing a natural promenade was the location for the show from 1990 to 2016. As with most things in life, things change. In 2017 the Castleconnor Community Centre and surrounding lands provided a new home for the Enniscrone & District Agricultural & Industrial Show. Read more.
The show that looks to the future.
